A message from Anthony Killeen, ADLM President & Reid Rosehill, CLS Council Chair

Killeen and Rosehill

Across the world, clinical laboratorians generously give their time and share their knowledge to help their colleagues in clinical lab medicine learn the best practices, advance in their careers, and impact better health for all through laboratory medicine. We are a community, and we thrive as an organization because of the work laboratorians like you do every day.

Join us on social media to celebrate the achievements and vital role of medical laboratory professionals in patient care. You can recognize a person or team that has made a positive impact on the field by posting a selfie, tagging them, and sharing why they deserve the recognition! Tag @MyADLM and use hashtags #MLPW2025 and #ADLMLabWeek2025.

You can also download a Happy Lab Week banner to add to your personal LinkedIn page here.

Thank you to all our committee volunteers! The work accomplished by the more than 190 members of the association’s 21 committees represents some of the most essential activities done on behalf of the membership, the patients we serve, and our profession. Their work is the source of the association’s growth.

Thank you to all our journal editors and reviewers! In addition to ADLM Committees, the association is fortunate to benefit from the skills and contributions of editors and reviewers for our scientific journals and publications, which are read and respected around the globe.

Thank you for the work you put in day in and day out. Choosing to be in this profession means you are impacting patient lives — you are healthcare heroes.

Want to get more involved? Join a Local Section where members connect in their local communities by holding meetings, educational events, receptions, and other professional gatherings for networking and information sharing. You can also join an ADLM Scientific Division to network with other scientists who share your specific area of interest or expertise. Both of these groups provide opportunities for leadership and career growth.

Here are some fun games that ADLM's CLS Council curated to help you celebrate Lab Week.
